Biography
|

|
Andrei grew up in New York and attended
La Guardia High School for Music and Art and studied drawing and painting from the figure as well as still-lifes. During this period he was
influenced by his father, a scenic designer, and his uncle, a dada/surrealist painter.
He then attended college at Purchase and
New Paltz, both state universities, where he continued to draw, paint and sculpt.
After he left school he moved to New York City where he painted scenery for film and television commercials while maintaining a studio.
Today Andrei lives and works in New York City.
